I just got out of a very unfair custody case. I am 22 and a student in college. My child is 4 and has developmental delays, suspected autism. His father is 27 and a felon. He has been arrested a lot and has addiction problems. I have everything documented. I live in Arkansas and i went to renew my order of protection. We went to court there and he said he had something pending in Louisiana which brought us to court there. I knew there would be no such things as a fair trial bc my grandfather is the Ada and has worked w/ them for so many years. He wanted my childs father to have same rights as me bc he holds a grudge on me from when I was 10 yrs old and revealed my dad was abusive. Long story but he was and that is his son. He only cares what ppl think. I went for a jurisdiction ruling, the judge switches everything up on me bc I was told I did not need an attorney so I did not bring one. He took advantage of it, told me he was friends w/ my grandfather and had recently discussed w/ him my case right before!!! This is a special needs child okay!! The judge says he gets visitation to build up to where he can Eventually j/ keep him on his own.. My child does not know him. He has had child endangerment charges, drug charges, weapons charges, and he has broken into my home. The story goes on but what do I do? No one can give me an answer. My grandfather is very old and friends w/ a lot of attorneys an everyone at court house.

It sounds like you are claiming that your ex has lots of political/legal clout, so how did he end up with a mile long rap sheet?
