Which Season Has More of the Reid/addiction Plot Line in Criminal Minds?

Question by fin_aqua5: Which season has more of the Reid/addiction plot line in Criminal Minds?
So I just started to watch Criminal Minds, and I saw the episode where Reid is taken hostage and then he becomes addicted to that drug the killer gives him. The whole plot of Reid becoming an addict just fascinates me, so I was wondering; which season has more of that plot line? Two or three?
I want to buy them all, but i don’t have all of the money right now, so tow or three?

Actually, Reid’s addiction lasts only for a few episodes. He is kidnapped in episode 2×15 (Revelations) and in episode 2×18 (Jones) Hotch and Gideon notice his problems, as well as an old friend of Reid’s in New Orleans.
He has since become clean; in episode 3×16 (Elephant’s Memory) he is seen attending a support group meeting for addicts in law enforcement.
So I’d say season 2 😉
