Question by kim: are there any free rehabs for men?
My boyfriend who’s is soon to be daddy is drinking so much i been telling him to stop n even stop talking to him to see if he would stop drinking but he doesn’t
i harassed him saying that he’s not going to see his daughter but he won’t stop i told him i don’t wanna be with you anymore won’t stop!
I treated him mean just how he treated me.
But now i think its going out of hand now i realized that instead of attacking him i should help him now i’m pregnant and no money if i had money i would look into a rehab n pay monthly for him but i have no job i got laid off n my savings are for my baby since he doesn’t work n won’t wanna work.
I live in loss Angeles i googled free rehabs but i just have no luck finding any please help me!
I don’t want him to lose himselfand to miss out on his daughters life!

I do not know what is available in your area as I live in Australia.

I think you should talk to a Dr and see if they know of anything suitable. Are there any drugs and alcohol centres in your area that have a phone counselling line you can call and ask some questions.

Have a look in your local phone book or on the Internet and see if there are any drugs rehab centres listed and ring some of them and ask what should you do.

Your boy friend might have an addiction but if he does not want to get help you can not force him to. Maybe he needs to see a Dr and start going to AA meetings in your area.

I hope he comes to his senses and realises your trying to support and help him. Be careful if you go near him while he is drunk as he might hurt you by accident (push you over etc). Be careful and safe.

I hope he gets some help soon. Being addicted to any drug is very stressful and sad. Keep telling him you care about him and you are worried about him and his future and you want him to be healthier. Good luck 🙂
